Tom Chapin on April 12, 2024: soulful, powerful, playful

With 27 albums and three GRAMMY awards, Hudson Valley Troubadour Tom Chapin has covered a lot of creative ground. In addition to his work as a recording artist, concert performer, storyteller and activist, heʼs performed on Broadway and worked extensively in television, radio and film. Chapin is an advocate for environmental causes, issues of hunger and social justice, and a supporter of music and the arts in public schools. Through it all, Tom keeps writing smart, thoughtful, funny and beautiful songs.

A.J. Wright, Yves Corbiere, Kate McCann

March 15: Skylark Trad Band is a trio of folk musicians whose repertoire spans maritime music, folk music of the British Isles, early American music, and a smattering of other traditions. Tight harmonies, strong vocal tones, and a depth of knowledge about the songs, tunes and their medley of instruments provide depth and variety in their shows.

A.J. Wright (they, them), born to a family of folk musicians and with a degree in classical cello, exudes competence and drives their musical momentum. Kate McCann (she, her), a banjo player who is also a classically trained soprano, provides rich high notes often rare in a touring band. Yves Corbiere (she, her) sews the trio together with charming balladry and vibrant bow strokes on the fiddle. In festivals, private events, and aboard tall ships along the eastern seaboard, Skylark interweaves sing-along favorites with ballads from the annals of history. Whether on land or sea, Skylark’s diverse sounds and joyful stage presence are a delight. https://skylarktradband.com/band
