Their repertoire includes music from the Republic of Georgia, Corsica, Bulgaria, the Basque region, and Quebec, but they remain deeply rooted in American folk singing traditions as well.

Wandering roots troubadour Shawn Taylor weaves songs from many threads– from Appalachian to island groves, gritty rock to sparse folk ballads, finger-style twisters to gut busting blues. “His lyrics dabble in a wonderful gritty naturalism,” wrote Dan Barry of the New Haven Advocate.

Braiden Sunshine and Jake Kulak! 7:30 on Friday, April 23!

Premiering on YouTube Live! The first hour will be acoustic performances by Jake and Braiden, followed by a “full band show.”  

Braiden Sunshine! Braiden Sunshine, Singer-Songwriter, performing musician, and car enthusiast, has a talent for pop, rock, and blues. His single “Reality” hit the Top 50 on iTunes! He hails from Lyme, CT, and has performed at “Pass the Guitar” to benefit New London’s Homeless Hospitality Center.

Connecticut native Jake Kulak and his trio are a must-see act no matter what size stage they are taking. Kulak is a fiery blues musician with an old soul and a rock aesthetic who wows crowds with his guitar work. Hartford Courant, September 2019.

Gorgeous vocal harmony and an astounding array of instruments!

A bit different and always entertaining, the award-winning Atwater~Donnelly Trio provides a compelling blend of traditional American and Celtic folk music and dance, along with original songs and poetry. Elwood Donnelly and Aubrey Atwater play an astounding array of instruments includes the mountain dulcimer, old-time banjo, tin whistle, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, limberjacks, feet and more. Cathy Clasper-Torch joins them on violin, cello and Chinese erhu!

Aubrey and Elwood are also well known for their dancing. Elwood is a dynamic contra dance caller, as well as an enthusiastic tap dancer; and Aubrey thrills audiences with her highly percussive clogging.

The Vox Hunters on Saturday, December 14

Armand and Ben play many instruments!

The Vox Hunters, “voice hunters”, are Armand Aromin and Benedict Gagliardi. They bring new life to old songs with tight harmonies. They write songs set in their beloved Rhode Island.
